The second annual rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival is back on October 3-4 with professional rodeo action, family fun, line dancing and a Two-Step Social under the stars. WASAGA BEACH, ON, Aug. 11, 2026 /CNW/ — After one of Ontario’s biggest country music weekends, Wasaga Beach invites country fans to keep those boots on and enjoy more good times with the return of the Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival on October 3 and 4 at Klondike Sports Park. The 2026 Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival is organized by the Town of Wasaga Beach with support from the Ontario government through Experience Ontario along with media sponsors CTV and Pure Country 106. You can buy tickets now for this exciting event featuring two days filled with professional rodeo performances, fall festival activities, country entertainment and a Saturday night Two-Step Social-all aimed at raising funds for local charities. “Last year showed us just how much appetite there is for an event like this,” said Mayor Smith. “People came for the rodeo, stayed for the Hootenanny and Two-Step social, and helped the Town raise more than $55,000 for local charities. This year, we want to build on that success to bring even more people together to make an even bigger difference in our community.” After attracting thousands of attendees and raising over $55,000 for local charities in its first year, the Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo returns in 2026 with an expanded Hootenanny Fall Festival offering even more reasons to enjoy a weekend here. This year’s rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival will be larger thanks to support from the Ontario government through Experience Ontario. It will feature new attractions including a giant Ferris wheel that stands at 65 feet tall, additional seating areas and food choices as well as improved accessibility features-and an even bigger Saturday night Two-Step Social awaits! The highlight of the weekend is undoubtedly the RAM Rodeo Tour which brings talented cowboys and cowgirls to Wasaga Beach showcasing thrilling performances filled with classic rodeo competitions and entertainment. The rodeo grounds will open Saturday afternoon featuring food trucks, vendors plus a beer garden before kicking off a free Kids Rodeo alongside the Canadian Cowgirls followed by the main RAM Rodeo performance starting at 4 p. m. On Sunday things get going again at 10:30 a. m., featuring another Kids Rodeo at 11:30 a. m., leading up to Sunday’s second RAM Rodeo performance scheduled for1 p. m. You won’t want to miss out once rodeos finish; that’s when dancing kicks off!
