The second annual rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival is back on October 3-4, bringing exciting rodeo events, family fun, line dancing, and a Two-Step Social under the stars.
WASAGA BEACH, ON, Aug. 11, 2026 /CNW/ — Following one of Ontario’s biggest country music weekends, Wasaga Beach is inviting country lovers to keep their boots on and enjoy the fun with the return of the Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival on October 3 and 4 at Klondike Sports Park.
The 2026 Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival is organized by the Town of Wasaga Beach, supported by the Ontario government through Experience Ontario and media sponsors CTV and Pure Country 106.
You can now grab tickets for this year’s event featuring two days packed with professional rodeo action, fall festival excitement, country entertainment, and a Saturday night Two-Step Social-all aimed at raising funds for local charities.
“Last year showed us just how much appetite there is for an event like this,” said Mayor Smith. “People came for the rodeo, stayed for the Hootenanny and Two-Step social, and helped the Town raise more than $55,000 for local charities. This year, we want to build on that success to bring even more people together to make a bigger impact in our community.”
After attracting thousands of fans and raising over $55,000 for local charities during its first year, the Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo returns in 2026 with an expanded Hootenanny Fall Festival offering even more reasons to enjoy a weekend here.
<p. With help from the Ontario government through Experience Ontario, this year's rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival will feature additional attractions such as a 65-foot Ferris wheel, extra seating options and food choices, improved accessibility features as well as an even larger Saturday night Two-Step Social.
The highlight of the weekend is definitely the RAM Rodeo Tour which brings cowboys and cowgirls to Wasaga Beach for two thrilling performances showcasing classic rodeo events along with great entertainment.
The rodeo grounds open Saturday afternoon with food trucks, vendors, and a beer garden followed by a free Kids Rodeo featuring the Canadian Cowgirls along with the main RAM Rodeo performance at 4 p. m. The fun continues on Sunday starting again at 10:30 a. m., including another Kids Rodeo at 11:30 a. m. before wrapping up with Sunday’s second RAM Rodeo performance at 1 p. m.
<p. Once rodeos are over it's time to hit the dance floor!
