You can explore everything from historic homes to modern architectural wonders. Doors Open Ontario highlights the buildings, natural areas, infrastructure, and cultural landscapes that shape our communities.
Since its start in 2002, more than 7.3 million visits have been made to thousands of unique places. The Doors Open Ontario program also positively affects local communities; participants spent over $13.1 million during their travels in 2017 while discovering heritage conservation and local history-all while having fun.
The 2026 Doors Open Ontario features numerous events showcasing special buildings and natural heritage spots throughout the province. Each event will include local programmers sharing fascinating stories about Ontario and giving residents exclusive access behind-the-scenes at stunning heritage locations-offering endless adventures for everyone.
