The Saskatchewan Roughriders let a nine-point advantage slip away on Saturday night.
In their Week 11 matchup against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, the Roughriders were up 19-10 in the third quarter but couldn’t manage to earn a first down in the fourth quarter. Tiger-Cats quarterback Tre Ford came off the bench and turned things around, leading his team to a 26-19 victory.
“Without watching (the film), I just felt like in three phases we just did not meet the expectation and standards of ourselves,” said Roughriders head coach Corey Mace said on CKRM’s post-game show. “Obviously, we’ve got to have some stops defensively there. Quarterback change, we’re prepared for (but) we’ve got to execute.
