This year marks the 15th edition of the Realtors Care Food Drive organized by the Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors.

OXFORD – Many local realtors will be out in their communities alongside friends and family for the 15th annual Realtors Care Food Drive.

They’ll be visiting homes to gather donations in Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, Sweaburg, Embro and Innerkip starting at 6:00 p. m. today. If you recently spotted a yellow and red door hanger on your front door, they’re coming to your area.

The event is put together by the Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors. Member Jessica Quesnel mentions they’re asking for contributions to support local food banks.

“We are looking for any canned goods, Kraft Dinner, diapers, or anything that is non-perishable that would benefit.”

She also notes that supporting this cause is really simple.

“Just have them on your front porch, and as soon as we see them on the front porch, we will come around to pick them up.”

The Realtors Care Food Drive takes place every first Wednesday in May and has gathered about 232,303 pounds of food so far.
