OTTAWA, Ontario–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Porter Airlines is starting its new service today between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM), giving travellers a direct route between Canada’s capital and the lively Southern Ontario’s Golden Horseshoe area.

Porter is the only airline offering nonstop flights on this route, with two daily departures using the 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft. Each Porter flight ensures comfort for all passengers by not having middle seats, along with their well-known service that includes complimentary wine and beer served in glassware and tasty snacks.

Here’s the schedule for flights:

This new route also provides easy connections via Ottawa to Atlantic Canada, including additional flights to Charlottetown, Fredericton, and Moncton.

Ottawa has plenty of things for visitors to enjoy throughout the year. From the historic Byward Market and top-notch museums to cycling and kayaking on the Rideau Canal, plus lively summer festivals that bring energy to the city.

Hamilton acts as a perfect entry point to some of Ontario’s most famous spots like Niagara Falls and its wine country. The city itself has developed into a vibrant cultural hub with a growing arts scene and delicious food options.

With today’s introduction of services to both Ottawa and Montreal Metropolitan Airport (MET), folks in the Greater Hamilton Area now have nonstop access to 13 Porter destinations, featuring an expanding range of domestic routes as well as transborder and sunny getaway locations. Additionally, Porter is unique in serving all three GTHA airports: Toronto City, Toronto Pearson, and Hamilton-offering travellers unmatched flexibility and connections across the region.

You can book flights at flyporter. com.
