We are heartbroken to share that Margaret Audene Parris passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Friday, April 24th, 2026, at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario.

Born on March 4th, 1952, in Barbados, she was the daughter of her loving mother Esmay Lynch and father Rupert Alleyne. She leaves behind her mother, father, and four brothers: Tony, Charles Andrew, and Paul.

Margaret moved to Canada in 1975 after finishing her secretarial studies in the USA. Once she arrived in Canada, she stayed with her brother Tony before getting her own place and worked at Sunnybrook Hospital until retirement.

A truly private individual, Margaret had a big heart for others-especially her nieces and nephews. She always brought gifts whenever she returned home to Barbados or when they came to visit her during their vacations in Canada. Concerned for her mum’s health as she enjoys her golden years now, Margaret would call every day just to check on her.

People will always remember Margaret for being generous with friends and family and for having outstanding organizational skills wherever she worked.

May she Rest in Peace.

If you wish, donations to the Sunnybrook Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
