A 36-year-old occupational therapy assistant has been taken into custody after claims surfaced that she assaulted a child with special needs in Vaughan.
York Region police reported they were alerted on February 24 by an individual who stated that the woman visited the victim’s home for a therapy session and allegedly attacked them.
Authorities apprehended Roza Hosseini from Richmond Hill on February 27, charging her with one count of assault.
Police also mentioned that Hosseini serves multiple clients, raising concerns that there might be more victims.
