Vogl, Sam Sam passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 28, 2010, due to a tragic skiing accident, at just 17 years old. He was the dearly loved son of Keith Vogl and Linda Astle. He was a much-loved brother to Jake. Sam was also the dear grandson of Charles and Caroline Astle, along with John and Laura Vogl. He held a special place in the heart of Silvia Passalent and was the godson of Steve and Laura Babb. In his seventeen short years, Sam lived a life filled with love that many don’t experience in a lifetime. His passion for people shone brightly, and he truly adored his friends. His laughter and kindness spread joy everywhere he went. Sadly, he lost his life while enjoying skiing with his beloved family. All who knew him will forever remember him fondly for the impact he had on their lives. Friends are welcome to visit St. Andrew’s Anglican Church at the Parish Hall, located at 156 Main Street West, Grimsby on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p. m. A Celebration of his life will take place at Trinity United Church, 100 Main Street West, Grimsby on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 2 p. m. Cremation has already taken place. If you wish to make a memorial donation, please consider Mc Nally House at 148 Central Avenue, Grimsby, L3M 4Z3; it would mean a lot to the family. Arrangements have been handled by STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME in GRIMSBY (905-945-2755). www. smithsfh. com
