Regional police are looking into a multi-vehicle accident that shut down the intersection of Huron Road and Trussler Road in Kitchener – and they say charges may be filed.
On Wednesday morning around 7:30 a. m., police, along with emergency teams, responded to reports of a crash involving three vehicles: a Nissan, a Hyundai, and a Ram pickup truck.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 30-year-old man from Kitchener, was the only person injured in the incident. He has been taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic watchers who contacted 570 News Radio on Wednesday morning mentioned that heavy fog in the area created visibility issues.
While the investigation continues, police have informed 570 News Radio that they expect to lay charges.
