The Canadian rock band, The Glorious Sons, who have won multiple JUNO awards, will take the stage at the first-ever Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham on Saturday, Aug. 15. Their performance is scheduled to begin around 6:20 pm and is brought to you by Sirius XM Canada. This concert will be part of an exciting day filled with racing, following the NASCAR Canada Series qualifying for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES on the temporary street circuit in Markham.
Since forming in 2011, this Kingston-based group has put out two EPs and four full-length albums including the Platinum-certified “Young Beauties and Fools” as well as Gold-certified albums like “The Union” and “A War On Everything.” They boast over 450M streams worldwide with a collection of hit songs such as “S. O. S. (Sawed Off Shotgun),” “Everything Is Alright,” “Heavy,” “Panic Attack,” “Mama,” along with fan favorites like “My Poor Heart” and “Kill The Lights.”
The Sirius XM Concert is included in admission for both 2-Day and Saturday Single Day ticket holders. It will start just 15 minutes after the NASCAR Canada Series race ends at about 6:20 p. m. in the 407 ETR Thunder Alley. Fans can get great value with a 2-Day General Admission ticket priced at $90, which covers both music and all track action, while a Saturday Single Day ticket costs $50. There are still some Grandstand seats available for those wanting reserved seating with fantastic views around the temporary circuit that spans 12 turns over a distance of 3.52 kilometers (2.19 miles).

Upgrading to a full weekend pass is hands-down the best way to catch all the action.”
The weekend’s schedule promises plenty of excitement for fans, featuring Sunday’s debut race in Markham for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES on Aug. 16th alongside racing from NASCAR Canada Series on Saturday, Aug. 15th as well as double-headers throughout the weekend from USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire and USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire along with Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin. Overall, fans will enjoy five series competing in eight races across this festival weekend.
