The Homicide Unit of York Regional Police is looking into the case after a woman was discovered dead in her Richmond Hill home on Saturday morning.
Authorities stated they received a call to a house on Don Head Village Boulevard near Bathurst Street and Major Mackenzie Drive just before 7:30 a. m.
A 65-year-old woman was reported deceased, according to officers.

The coroner arrived at the scene, determined that the woman’s death was suspicious, and handed over the investigation to homicide detectives, police mentioned.
