Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Ltd. is putting $141 million into upgrading and expanding its main manufacturing, distribution, and sales center in Brampton. This project will add a new high-speed production line and create up to 500 construction jobs.
The expansion will feature a production line that can make at least 20 million more cases each year. The company states that this investment will enhance its manufacturing capabilities in Ontario and promote ongoing growth across the province and eastern Canada.
The Brampton project will be constructed solely by Canadian workers, with at least 75 percent of materials sourced from within the country. Once completed, the new line is expected to be one of the most advanced in Canada, improving production and packaging processes while allowing the company to introduce new products faster.
This investment comes after an $8-million upgrade to the company’s Hamilton distribution center last year.
Coke Canada Bottling has invested over $230 million into its Brampton operations since becoming an independent family-owned business in 2018. The facility currently employs more than 1,300 individuals and serves over 7,000 local customers from Kitchener to Oshawa. Products manufactured at this plant are distributed throughout Ontario and eastern Canada.

Charmaine Williams, MPP for Brampton Centre, mentioned that the expansion will significantly impact families in the area.
“This facility has long been an important part of Brampton Centre’s economic landscape, and this expansion reinforces the strength of our local workforce and manufacturing sector,” Williams said.
Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown remarked that this project highlights the city’s role as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
“The expansion of this flagship facility will create hundreds of good-paying jobs, strengthen our local supply chain and support economic growth across our community,” Brown said.
