It’s with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected loss of a cherished son, fiancé, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, Taylor Bradford Green, on April 1, 2026, at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Taylor ran Sleeping Giant Biscotti Company, well-known among many local and regional shops as well as customers. His creativity led to the introduction of the widest variety of biscotti flavors in Canada.
Taylor had a passion for travel, particularly throughout Canada. In his short life, he explored/worked in eleven out of the thirteen provinces and territories. He made friends along the way and collected experiences that enriched his vast knowledge which fascinated those who listened. Taylor dreamed of traveling around the globe with his fiancée. Some destinations on their list included Scotland, England, and New Zealand.
He will be missed by his mother, Marianne Hobbs; fiancée, Andrea Hinsperger; brother, Spencer Green; uncles Brad Green and Frank (Tammy) Hobbs; aunts Lee Cranton and Kelly Green; countless cousins as well as family and friends in England and soon-to-be in-laws Jackie & John Hinsperger and Michael Hinsperger & Melissa Hinsperger.
Taylor was preceded in death by his father, John Spencer Green; grandparents Derek & Pamela Hobbs, Ruby & Aldo Casella, John & Jean Green; and most recently by uncle Ian Hobbs.
A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 11:00 a. m. at Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel located at 21 N. Court Street.
In place of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Thunder Bay & District Humane Society.
