With great sadness, we share the news of Georgina Lee Harron’s passing, a resident of Rosslyn, Ontario. Surrounded by her family, Georgina transitioned to the next life on April 2, 2026, at Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre. She was born on May 10th, 1956, and shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Dean.
Georgina took pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Lakehead University and drove a school bus for several years. She loved ensuring ‘her kids’ got to school safely each day. In her free time, she enjoyed making candles and crafting balms while appreciating her beautiful gardens and the birds that visited. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family; they always came first in her life.
She is survived by her husband Howard Dean Harron; two sons, Dean and Taylor; daughter Jennifer; granddaughter Emma; grandsons William and Colin; brother Don; sisters Ruby and Mailyn; along with friends and family near and far. A celebration of life will be planned for later. Georgina showed those around her the true essence of unconditional love. She will always live on in our hearts, memories, and souls – rest in peace.
“Georgina, you were the wind in my sails, you made me strong, I love you so much. I will love you and miss you forever.” Your loving husband, Dean.
