Severe Cold Weather Closes Facilities in Hamilton and Surrounding Areas

According to Environment Canada, a stretch of extremely cold wind chills is predicted for Hamilton, Halton, and Niagara, as well as Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties until Tuesday afternoon. Here’s what’s closed because of the severe cold.

Hamilton

Schools and offices of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation;

Haldimand-Norfolk

Grand Erie District School Board schools, administrative offices, and child-care centers; Secondary students with exams scheduled today will receive further updates from their principals. Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board ÉÉC Sainte-Marie Norfolk Transportation has been canceled and schools are closed in Zone 1 Norfolk County, Zone 2 Haldimand County, Zone 3 Brant County, and Zone 4 City of Brantford due to the bad weather affecting our area. Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board; Haldimand Norfolk Community Senior Support Services   Transportation has been canceled and schools are closed in Zone 1 Norfolk County, Zone 2 Haldimand County, Zone 3 Brant County, and Zone 4 City of Brantford due to the bad weather affecting our area.
