CERVINI, Anna-Maria

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Anna Maria Cervini (née Paniccia), who passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, September 13, 2026, at the age of 60. Anna was a warm, loving woman who always prioritized her family. For her, nothing mattered more than her children and grandchildren. She dedicated herself to those she loved without reservation. As a wife, mother, daughter, and sister, she cherished every bond in her life. Anna enjoyed a wonderful life with her husband Antonio Cervini (Tony) for 31 years, together creating a family filled with love and laughter. She was the proud mother of her only daughter Celine Maxwell (Andrew), her oldest son Michael Cervini, and her youngest son Brandan Cervini. She was also a delighted Nonna to Alexander and Samuel. Anna is survived by her parents Emma & Giorgio Paniccia, her brother Fabio (Pamela Mc Lean), and her niece Gia. Additionally, she leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A dear friend to Dina Monaco and “the Fab Five,” she will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Anna took great pleasure in being a hairstylist. Her passion for her work was so strong that she never wanted to retire. Even when not at work, she would help family members with their hair because caring for others was simply part of who she was. Her hands were always busy doing something kind for someone close to her. She had many interests that brought joy into her life. Anna enjoyed watching soap operas like General Hospital and listening to Italian music along with hits from Michael Jackson and various songs from the 1980s. Getting lost in an engaging audiobook-especially thrillers-was one of her favorite pastimes too. She loved traveling as well; whether it was making amazing memories in Las Vegas or Mexico with Dina or visiting Calgary to see her two grandchildren. However, one of the best ways Anna showed love was through cooking delicious meals for others. A skilled Italian cook, she took pride in ensuring no one went hungry when she was around; there was always food simmering on the stove or cheesecake ready to share at the table. For Anna’s family, mealtime wasn’t just about eating; it was how they came together as one unit.

What set Anna apart was both her tenacity and quiet strength during tough times. She had a resilience that few people in her family had witnessed before-a quality they may never encounter again in quite the same way. Facing life’s challenges with grace became an essential part of who she was as a person-and this strength continues on through those whom she loved dearly as well as through the family structure that meant everything to her over time.

Anna’s absence will leave an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her: husband Tony; children Celine , Michael , Brandan ; friends; relatives; anyone fortunate enough just having been able meeting such an incredible soul! Though she’ll be greatly missed day-to-day by everyone still here now without having said goodbye properly.. countless memories shared throughout their journey together remain etched forever within each heart carrying forth bits-and-pieces which honor all those special moments spent together while celebrating life as it unfolded every single day!

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (3048 Dougall Ave., Windsor ON 519-253-7236) on Thursday September 17 from 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Parish prayers will take place at 2:30pm. Funeral Mass will follow on Friday September 18 ,2026 at St. Angela Merici Church(980 Louis Ave., Windsor , ON )519-254-5542. Entombment afterwards at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

We find comfort knowing that God has welcomed Anna home into His loving embrace. May He grant eternal peace upon hersoul so reunited amongst those before us while watching lovingly over all friends/family keepingher memory alive within our hearts forevermore! Eternal rest grant untoher, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine uponher. May hermemory continue shining brightthroughout our lives until we meet again someday. Amen.
