Environment Canada has issued another heat warning for Southwestern Ontario.
The advisory indicates temperatures could soar between 30 to 36 degrees, with humidex readings ranging from 38 to 45.
They pointed out that Tuesday is expected to be the hottest day of the heat wave, hitting 36 degrees in some regions.
This yellow warning serves as a reminder that extreme heat can impact everyone’s health. People should look out for early signs of heat exhaustion, stay well-hydrated, turn on air conditioning or open windows if it’s cooler outside, limit direct sun exposure, and schedule outdoor activities during the coolest times of the day.
The high temperatures along with humid conditions might also result in poorer air quality.
Environment Canada issued this alert on Monday and anticipates it will continue until either Wednesday or Thursday evening.
