Environment Canada has issued another heat warning for Southwestern Ontario.

The notice indicates temperatures could soar between 30 to 36 degrees, with humidex readings reaching 38 to 45.

According to the agency, Tuesday will likely be the hottest day, hitting around 36 degrees in certain areas.

This yellow warning serves as a reminder that extreme heat can impact everyone’s health. People should be vigilant for early signs of heat exhaustion, stay hydrated, use air conditioning or open windows when it’s cooler outside, limit exposure to direct sunlight, and plan outdoor activities during the cooler parts of the day.

The high temperatures combined with humidity may also lead to worsening air quality.

Environment Canada has put out this alert for Monday and anticipates it will remain in effect until either Wednesday or Thursday evening.
