VAUGHAN, ON, June 29, 2026 /CNW/ – Recipe Restaurant Group (“Recipe”) announced today the launch of its latest Olive Garden restaurant at Vaughan Mills. This is the first new Olive Garden to open in Eastern Canada as part of Recipe’s national development deal with Darden Restaurants, Inc.
This opening represents a key moment in Recipe’s efforts to grow the Olive Garden brand across Canada and comes after the company’s acquisition of existing Western Canadian Olive Garden locations earlier this year.
“The opening of our very first Olive Garden restaurant in Ontario is a huge achievement for Recipe,” said Frank Hennessey, Chief Executive Officer for Recipe Restaurant Group. “The local community’s response has been amazing. With over 6,000 applications received we were able to put together an incredible team made up of more than 250 members-creating a fantastic economic opportunity for this area.
