The Tillsonburg Shrine Club will host the 19 plus event Friday night.
TILLSONBURG – The Tillsonburg Shrine Club is welcoming the New Year with a Fish Fry and Elimination Draw.
The 19-plus event will take place at the Lions Auditorium this Friday, starting at 5:00 p. m. Event Chair Cedric Tomico mentions that tickets for the Fish Fry are priced at $30 each.
“We sell tickets only at the door on that day, so it’s basically first come first serve. It’s an all-you-can-eat delicious pickerel dinner served with fresh-cut fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce-the whole works!”
The dinner will be available until 9:00 p. m. that evening.
Tickets for the Elimination Draw are $100 each and can be bought at Danbrook Automotive, through Tomico, or from another shrine member ahead of time. Tomico notes that those who participate have a chance to win big.
“The Elimination Draw is straightforward. We only sell 400 tickets, and the 1st, 100th, 200th, and 300th ticket drawn will win $100. The very last ticket pulled wins the grand prize of $20,000.”
All funds raised will go towards Shriners Hospitals for Children in Canada. Tomico points out that the closest hospital to Oxford County is located in Montreal.
