The Tillsonburg Fair kicks off at 4:00 p. m. tomorrow and wraps up at 7:00 p. m. on Sunday.
TILLSONBURG – It’s that time of year again!
The Tillsonburg Fair will take over Memorial Park starting tomorrow, Saturday, and running through Sunday.
There are plenty of exciting events planned this year, such as the baby show on Saturday, the demolition derby on Sunday, and the midway provided by Magical Midways.
Fair President Rosemary Dean mentions they’re bringing back the Special Olympics vs. First Responders Basketball Tournament.
“We welcome people to come out and cheer on our Special Olympics athletes, our first responders, or both. If you’re a first responder and have some time to spare, we invite you to join us for that event. It starts at 6:30 p. m. on Friday August 18th.”
The fair’s lineup also features the Oddities and Antiques Museum, performances from the FMX Freestyle Motocross Tour, professional hula-hoop acts by Bex in Motion, and more.
Dean shares details about admission costs for those wanting to attend.
“Entry is $8 per person and kids under 5 get in free. Right now we still have some all-day ride passes available for $25 because Magical Midways is offering a special deal. During the fair, those same passes will be $35.”
Please note that all-day ride passes are sold out now, but Dean says you can buy individual ride tickets for $2 each.
The fair will be open from 4:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. tomorrow, from 10:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. on Saturday, and from 10:00 a. m. to 7:00 p. m. on Sunday. The midway opens at 11:00 a. m. both Saturday and Sunday.
