Teresa Ellen Gough, 78, of Ontario, OR passed away on Thursday, March 5th at St. Alphonsus Boise with her children and brother by her side. Terry was born on July 1st, 1947 to Theron and Margaret Gough in Parma, ID. She graduated from Parma High School in 1965 and went on to study at Emanuel School of Nursing in Portland, OR. After finishing her studies, she returned to the Treasure Valley.   Terry spent many years working as a registered nurse in Ontario. She started her career at Holy Rosary Medical Center in the emergency department. Over the years, she worked at the Health Department, WIC program, and the Alcohol Recovery Center. She was particularly passionate about infectious disease programs during her time at the health department. Terry retired from nursing in 2004 but never truly stopped using her nursing skills; she found ways to volunteer at clinics and schools.   She met Samuel Henry Warrington while working at the hospital in Ontario and they dated for several years before marrying on May 31st, 1980. Together they had two children and shared 41 wonderful years of marriage before Sam’s passing.   Terry loved going to plays and concerts. When possible, she enjoyed traveling; the beach was her favorite getaway. She kept in touch with her nursing classmates and looked forward to their annual reunions. Terry was an active member of Bethany Presbyterian Church for over 30 years and held strong beliefs.   Terry was preceded in death by her parents Theron and Margaret, her brother Theron, and her husband Sam.   She is survived by her son Andy and his children Gage and Aria of Ontario; daughter Meg (Kenny) of Burns; and brother Thom of Nampa.   Terry’s services will be held at Bethany Presbyterian Church on Saturday April 4th, 2026 at 2pm with a celebration of her life following at The Elks Lodge Ontario around 3pm.
