In Loving Memory of
Sylvia Corinne Avril Seymour
September 9, 1928 – July 3, 2026
Nephew and partner
Vic says, my aunt Sylvia, my godmother with a British sense of humor always laughed loudly in every conversation. It always came back to the duff being fluffed. I will always miss our many talks.
– Much love Vic
Sylvia was the most inappropriate British woman I’ve ever known and that’s why I loved her.
– Love, Jim.
Nephew and partner
Aunt Sylvia, the last of a great generation who has seen it all and experienced more than her fair share of adversity. Yet she always managed to carry on with such strength, optimism, style, and grace. Never defeated. She was always such good company, very entertaining. Whether it be just having a regular conversation, sharing incredible stories from her life experiences or having a good laugh and being a bit silly. She was so proud of her family. We are all very lucky to have had her in our lives and to have experienced her love and support. Aunt Sylvia was a beautiful person inside and out and a truly “Classy Lady”.
– Love, Donny & Cindy
Grand Nephew and partner
Aunt Sylvia looked like a Hollywood star, lived with passion, and most notably, loved like an angel. Her genuine kindness that she showed at every greeting will be what I miss most from her.
– Love, Reid
Sylvia’s love radiated from her the moment you met her. She had a welcoming way about her that made you feel safe and accepted. Her smile and her genuine kindness will be deeply missed.
– Love, Sam
Nephew
Just lost one of my best friends. All I ever got from her was love. She will be missed and in my thoughts for the rest of my days.
– Love, Matthew
Grand Daughter
For someone of such small stature, Sylvia held an impossible amount of strength, wit, and endurance. To survive and overcome so much throughout her life with such grace, community, and determination just demonstrates what a legend she was. And she did it all without a hair out of place while wearing that warm smile on her face. Sylvia is an inspiration for me, and I love her.
– Love, Natalia
Grand Son
Nana, your warm smile, quick wit, and kind heart made every moment brighter. You had a way of making everyone laugh with your sense of humor. Thank you for the love, laughter, and memories you’ll always leave with us. I’m so grateful I had the chance to spend so much time with my Nana in her final days.
Rest peacefully, Nana. You will be loved, missed, and remembered forever.
