We are heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of Ronald Thomas Valentino Favot on May 24th, 2025, at the age of 65, in his home.
Ronald is survived by his devoted wife Paola Favot, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage. He was a proud father to daughter Daniela and son Cristian-Rino. As a loving Nonno, he cherished his time with Aurora Linzi. He was the dear son of the late Evo (2020) and late Claire (2025). His mother-in-law Vilma Romano also survives him, along with the late Rino (1990). He was a caring brother to Gary (Sheri) and uncle to niece Dana (Jordan). Additionally, he had great affection for his brother-in-law Lou and sister-in-law Lucia Prantera. Ronald’s life was enriched by his beloved Maltese dog Chanel and furry cat Stella.
He leaves behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family-his greatest pride. Watching them flourish brought him immense joy.
Ronald owned Ontario Spring and Alignment, starting there as a young man and working hard throughout his life. Born in Windsor, he lived passionately and embraced all that life offered. Known for being friendly, he greeted everyone warmly with a smile. His hobbies included golf, racing-especially collecting memorabilia related to Dale Earnhardt-rebuilding cars, traveling, hunting, and riding Harleys. He was an enthusiastic Red Wings fan who had a creative side as well.
His sudden loss has created a deep void in the hearts of family members, cousins, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Ronald will be remembered for his humor and profound love for his family. He truly had a big heart and cared deeply about others.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Cousin Dr. Dean Favot for his support during this time. We also extend our gratitude to the first responders.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Visitation will take place at the Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd E in Windsor on Thursday, May 29th, 2025 from 2 PM to 5 PM and again from 7 PM to 9 PM with prayers at 4:30 PM. A funeral service will occur on Friday morning May 30th at 10:00 AM.
