We are heartbroken to share the news of Albert’s passing at 73 years old on February 4, 2026. He was a loving husband to Yvonne for 29 years. He is survived by his daughters Melanie, Michelle, Angie La Feir (Jerry), and AJ (Rhonda). Proud Papa Al to Lauren, Taylor, Natalie, Zoey, Ethan, Annabelle, Latisha, T. J., Destiny and great-grandchild Aaliyah. He was a dear brother to Pat Anger (John), Barb Price (Ron), Johnny Lindsey (Sherry, 2023), Tommy Lindsey (1978), Ricky Lindsey (Lori), Gordon Jr. Lindsey (Jackie), and brother-in-law to Wayne Gouin (Shirley), Clairette Gouin, Ron Gouin (Roxanne), Allan Gouin (Colleen), Julie Beaudoin (Ricky), and Laurie Jan Bridges (Mike). He was predeceased by his parents Theresa (2021) and Gordon Lindsey (2023) and in-laws Lawrence (1996) and Bella (2003) Gouin. Many nieces, nephews, and extended family will miss him dearly.

Pappy found joy in many simple things like bowling and wrestling; he won several awards over the years for his efforts. He loved being active in his children’s lives, dedicating countless hours to coaching softball and soccer while promoting teamwork, confidence, and fun. At home, he could often be seen rooting for his favorite teams-the New York Islanders on ice and the Toronto Blue Jays on the field.

Most importantly, Pappy will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. As a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and supportive brother-his warmth humor touched everyone who knew him. His absence will be felt deeply.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the entire staff at WRH – Ouellette Campus on the 5th floor for their compassionate care shown to Albert during this time.

Visitation is set for Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 2-5 pm and again from 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue Monday February 9 from 10 am until the Chapel Service at 11 am followed by cremation. A Celebration of Life will take place later.

In honor of Albert’s love for sports please wear your favorite jerseys.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Albert’s memory to Windsor Essex Community Health Centre (we CHC) – Diabetes Wellness. You can share online condolences or memories with the family at www. windsorchapel. com
