With heavy hearts, the family of James “Jamie” Allan Lowe shares the news of his passing on October 21, 2025. He was born in Toronto, ON, on March 20, 1954, but grew up in Saint John, NB. Jamie was the son of the late James and Audrey (Totten) Lowe.
In the earlier years of his career, Jamie worked in sales and spent about 15-20 years self-employed as a flooring installer. He truly enjoyed life and found happiness in doing what he loved-whether it was coaching his sons’ hockey teams, hosting pool nights for over two decades, or spending weekends at the “camp.” He always stayed connected with old friends.
Jamie is survived by his children’s mother Sharon (Doyle), sons Jason (Kelli) and Jody (Janita), along with grandchildren Colby, Simon, Lauren, and Emalee. His sisters Valerie Collins (Gary), Joanne Kinney (Terry), Camilla Hanson (Dave), Gwendolyn Whittaker (Brent), Shelly Le Blanc (Emery) and brother Hartley Lowe (Donna) also survive him. He is remembered by sister-in-law Kathy Bridges (Ron), brother-in-law Frank Doyle (Pamela), sister-in-law Betty Doyle (Bob-deceased), as well as many nieces and nephews who held special bonds with him. Jamie was predeceased by his parents James and Audrey and nephew Curtis Collins.
The arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home. There will be a Visitation on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 2 PM to 6 PM. For anyone wishing to honor his memory, donations to Diabetes Canada or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
