After a brave fight against cancer, Todd passed away peacefully at home on January 22, 2026, surrounded by his wife and daughters at the age of 62. He is deeply missed by Sheryl (Noyes), his devoted wife of 34 wonderful years. He was a loving father to Kayla (Nik Looby) and Carley, and a proud Papa to his lovely granddaughter, Charlotte. He was also a caring brother to Kimberly (Rick Deraspe) and will be fondly remembered by his cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Todd was an easy-going guy with a great sense of humor who loved having fun with friends and family. Whether it was community events, golfing, watching sports, or traveling, he was always in for a good time. Summers at the cottage were especially dear to him-sipping coffee by the lake in the mornings, playing cards with friends, or enjoying a pint on the deck with neighbors made those times special. It just wasn’t as much fun without Todd!

Todd took immense pride in his daughters. Carley followed in his footsteps working at Hydro One while Kayla found success in the European business scene. Being a Papa to little Charlotte brought him endless joy; he loved nothing more than making her laugh with his playful antics.

For 38 years, Todd worked as a lineman for Hydro One. His job meant so much more than just work-it was about community. He treasured the friendships he built with coworkers during long days filled with challenges and trust. He especially enjoyed storm duty where he humorously became known as the “Walmart greeter,” welcoming incoming crews from other districts. With an amazing ability to connect with others, he often asked people if they knew someone as a way of bringing them together.

More than anything else, Todd wanted to spread happiness through his humor and warmth. One of the many ways he did this was through short social media videos called the “Muskoka Lineman Weather Update,” where he shared weather reports infused with his own charm. These videos became something people looked forward to-a simple reflection of who he truly was.

Todd will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, strong work ethic, and ability to make everyone feel included and connected. His legacy lives on through love, laughter, and precious memories that will be held dear by all who knew him.

In line with Todd’s wishes, cremation has occurred. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Todd on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 from 1 p. m. to 4 p. m., taking place at Billingsley Funeral Home located at 430 Ravenscliffe Road in Huntsville.

For those wishing to honor Todd’s memory can make donations to Pancreatic Cancer North America.
