Middlesex County OPP report that a 15-year-old from Lucan-Biddulph has died following a crash involving an SUV and a dirt bike on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place just north of London, Ont., on Denfield Road between Airport Drive and Elginfield Road (Highway 7) in the township of Lucan-Biddulph, according to police. Emergency responders arrived at the scene at 4:44 p. m.
The young rider of the dirt bike was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries but was later pronounced dead. Their name has not been disclosed.

The driver of the SUV also went to the hospital but suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have not yet shared details about what led to the crash.
<p. Portions of Denfield Road were shut down for some time as police conducted their investigation. The road has since reopened.
