We’re heartbroken to share the unexpected loss of Daniel Robert Clark, who was just 53 years old. He was pre-deceased by his father, Robert (Bob) Clark (1989), and his mother, Sally Clark (2019). He will be deeply missed by his three wonderful children, Karli, Jake, and Dylan. He’s also survived by his sister Lee-Anne and brother Dean, as well as being an uncle to Mitchell, Tecoa, and Billy. Dan had a true passion for art. His creativity shined through in his photography, paintings, sculptures, and love for all things artistic. He had many friends from different walks of life-coworkers, customers, childhood friends, and new acquaintances made over the years. Although Dan faced challenges with mental illness that took so much from him, his love for his children and friends always stood out. He would have wanted to see the stigma surrounding mental health fade away and more support for those who are still struggling. In a world where you can be anything, choose to be kind first. In lieu of flowers, donations to the downtown mission or Brentwood recovery would mean a lot to the family. A private family service has been held; cremation will follow. Please join us on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Essex Arena and Rec Center located at 60 Fairview Ave in Essex from 11am-2pm to celebrate all the love, stories, and memories of Dan. Come casually dressed with your cherished memories that his family and friends can hold close to their hearts.
