November 26, 1941 – June 17, 2026
Joseph Tommy Bilodeau was born on November 26, 1941, in St‑Tite, Québec, and he passed away on June 17, 2026, in Elliot Lake, Ontario. He lived for eighty‑four years filled with quiet strength, resilience, and a deep love for his family.
Joseph spent the majority of his life in Ontario where he created a career, raised a family, and contributed to his community. During his retirement years, he made Elliot Lake his home – a place that offered him peace and the simple joys he appreciated.
He was the loving son of Germaine Bilodeau (Tessier) and Alphonse Bilodeau. He had two brothers, Donald and Michael. Joseph was predeceased by his former wife Patricia Bilodeau; together they enjoyed many years raising their son.
He is survived by his son Thomas Bilodeau and Thomas’s wife Arienne; they were a constant source of pride for him. Joseph also adored being a grandfather to Kirstian and Sarah and took great delight as a great‑grandfather to Cooper during his last months.
Family shaped Joseph’s life – both the family he grew up with and the one he built himself. His influence continues through the generations that follow him as they carry on his kindness and the gentle ways he expressed love.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Ave). Condolences to the family may be shared online at www. elliotlakefuneralchapel. com
