The police have not provided additional details, such as the child’s age or gender, stating that their investigation is still ongoing.
This marks the second incident of this nature in just two weeks; previously, a six-year-old girl fell from a bedroom window of another North York apartment building.
The police mentioned via social media at that time that they were responding to an “unknown trouble” in the area.
