Four individuals have been arrested and are facing multiple charges following a home invasion investigation in Oakville.

According to the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), the incident took place on Tuesday, February 24th at around 10:00 a. m. Three masked suspects, one wielding a hammer, broke into a house on Settlers Road. A woman inside was locked in a closet while the suspects made off with over $70,000 worth of designer clothing before escaping in a stolen Honda CRV. Thankfully, police report that the victim wasn’t physically harmed and no firearms were present during the event.

The ongoing investigation led to search warrants being executed at homes in Brantford on Friday, March 13th. Officers discovered a significant amount of drugs including fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and hydromorphone. They also found two loaded Glock handguns, ammunition, a stolen vehicle, license plates, and items connected to the Oakville home invasion.

23-year-old Dontee Golding from Brantford is facing charges for:

Robbery Break and Enter Disguise with Intent Forcible Confinement Possession of a Loaded Firearm (2 Counts) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts) Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts) Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device Careless Storage of a Prohibited Firearm Careless Storage of a Prohibited Device Careless Storage of Ammunition Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (5 Counts) – Fentanyl, Cocaine, Hydromorphone, Methamphetamine, Crack Cocaine Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 (3 Counts) Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Order Fail to Comply with Sentence or Disposition

A 30-year-old man from Kitchener whose name hasn’t been released has been charged with:

Robbery Break and Enter Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000 Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 (2 Counts)

32-year-old Teala Talley-Downey from Brantford is charged with:

Possession of a Loaded Firearm (2 Counts) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts) Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 Counts) Careless Storage of a Prohibited Firearm Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device Careless Storage of a Prohibited Device Careless Storage of Ammunition Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000

27-year-old Tewodros Neuman from Brantford faces charges for:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5000 (2 Counts)

All four suspects are currently being held in custody awaiting their bail hearing in Milton.
