Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Yellow Level Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Mississauga.
Stormy weather is likely to stick around through the afternoon across much of southern Ontario. Because thunderstorms can be quite localized, it’s hard to predict the exact effects and locations until they actually form and move in.
The storm is expected to kick off around noon today, with the most significant effects likely occurring in the early afternoon. These thunderstorms are anticipated throughout much of southern Ontario.
This system brings a risk of damaging wind gusts along with heavy rainfall and possibly large hail.
