Barbecue enthusiasts from around the GTA will flock to Mississauga this weekend for one of Ontario’s largest rib festivals, making a return for its second time in the city this summer.
The Port Credit Ribfest X 2026 will take over Memorial Park from Aug. 7 to 9, showcasing award-winning rib teams, live entertainment, family activities, and a variety of barbecue favorites in the waterfront community.
Hosted by the Ontario Festival Group and presented by Gelateria Italiana, this three-day festival features some of North America’s finest pitmasters serving up smoked ribs, pulled pork, brisket, BBQ chicken, smoked sausage, and huge beef “Dino” ribs.

In addition to barbecue options, attendees can enjoy various festival favorites such as bloomin’ onions, roasted corn, poutine, cold drinks, and plenty of sweet treats.
Food vendors at the event include Gelateria Italiana, Alabama Lemonade, Billy Bob’s Bloomin’ Onions, Pineapple Queen, Chocolate N Strawberries, Heavenly Pop’T, Ontario Corn Roasters, Pappy’s Olde Fashion Soda Pop, Mister Treats, Beaver Tails, Tiny Tom Donuts and Slushy Bear.
Beyond the food offerings, organizers have arranged an exciting weekend filled with entertainment and activities including live music performances, a marketplace with artisan vendors, carnival games on the midway area as well as face painting and a Kids Zone.
The entertainment schedule includes tribute acts and local bands performing throughout the weekend.
On Friday you can catch Ida-Maria, Dingo; Pink Leather Jackets; and Fiddlestix.
Saturday features a Battle of the Bands competition along with a gelato eating contest. Ramblin’ Soul will perform during welcoming ceremonies followed by Tom Barlow and Epic Eagles performing an Eagles tribute.
Sunday’s lineup includes Little Peter & The Elegants; K-POP Idols; Dramazoid; the Best Ribs Awards presentation; and Closing Ceremonies featuring Exodus paying tribute to Bob Marley.
The festival hours are Friday from noon to 11 p. m., Saturday from noon to 11 p. m., and Sunday from noon to 8 p. m.
Admission is $5 for adults while kids aged 10 and under get in free. It’s also pet-friendly! Your admission includes access to all free concerts happening during the festival.
The organizers are committed to minimizing waste at this year’s event by eliminating single-use plastics. They encourage attendees to bring reusable water bottles that can be refilled at no-cost water stations available on-site.
The Port Credit Ribfest X marks another major ribfest happening in Mississauga this year as part of a summer tradition that attracts barbecue lovers from across the region.
