A man from Kitchener, Ont., riding an e-scooter lost his life after colliding with a pickup truck on Friday night.
Authorities reported they arrived at the scene of the crash around 9:45 p. m. at the intersection of Lancaster and Guelph streets.
The 44-year-old e-scooter rider was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Officials mentioned that the driver of the truck was not hurt.
Waterloo Regional Police are actively investigating this incident.
They are urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has dash camera footage to reach out to them.
