Carol Cassidy
Print With heavy hearts, we share the news of Carol Cassidy’s passing, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Carol left us on her birthday, October 30th, 2018, at the age of 78. She was a beloved wife for 55 years to the late Marvin Cassidy (2013) and a caring mother to Kim (Jeff), Tammy (Chris), and Kevin (Beth).She was also a proud grandma to Tanya, Chad (Ashley), Courtney, Corey (Melissa), Jessica (Alister), Faith, and Hailey. In addition, she was a great grandma to Cody, Autumn, Carter, Chase, Caylee, Nevaeh, Ayden, Nolan, Corvin, Dylan, Nate and Cameron. She is survived by her sister Sharon (Carl) Ternahan and brother Dennis (Bernadette) Batson along with sister-in-law Cheryl Cassidy.
Carol was pre-deceased by her parents Bruce Batson and Flossie Batson as well as siblings Kenny (Lorraine) Batson, Shirley Barris, Bill Batson, Larry (Chico) Batson,
and Barb (Gerry) Owen. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the oncology department at Windsor regional metropolitan campus for their compassionate care during this difficult time.
