A 95-year-old man has lost his life after a single-vehicle accident in Burlington on Saturday night, according to police.
The Halton Regional Police Service reported that the incident took place just before 7:30 p. m. near 1380 Old York Road.
A red Buick sedan was heading north on Old York Road when it veered off the road and struck a tree, as stated by police in a news release.
Authorities mentioned that the driver, who lived in Burlington, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Anyone who witnessed the crash and hasn’t yet contacted law enforcement is encouraged to reach out to Halton police’s collision reconstruction unit.
