The Ottawa Valley Ontario Health Team wrapped up June by planning their direction for the coming year.
On Monday, June 29, members of the OVOHT’s Patient, Family, and Caregiver Network joined healthcare leaders from around the area for a collaborative planning session. They looked back at what has been achieved and set their goals for 2026/27.
This meeting showcased the progress made in enhancing regional partnerships and connecting local residents to primary care services.
Attendees also pinpointed key areas of focus, such as helping more individuals age comfortably at home, improving support for those with complex health and social needs, and targeting efforts to achieve significant outcomes.
According to the OVOHT, the session emphasized that effective changes in local healthcare are about prioritizing the right actions through strong collaboration, clinical leadership, and shared objectives.
