Region of Peel – Officers from the Vice and Human Trafficking Unit have taken a 23-year-old man from Brampton into custody as part of a human trafficking investigation.
In April, Peel Regional Police received reports about a woman who was being trafficked within the sex industry. It’s alleged that between October 2025 and February 2026, the suspect coerced her into participating in the sex trade.
Additionally, it’s claimed that he exerted control over various parts of her life, created ads, found clients, and profited from her exploitation.
On April 24, Kabir Jangra, 23 years old and residing in Brampton, was arrested and charged with these offences:
Procuring Advertising Sexual Services Communicate For Sexual Service Trafficking Persons Receiving Benefits Resulting from Trafficking in Persons Receive Material Benefits from Sexual Services Exercise Control
Jangra was detained for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
