Authorities are looking into a series of thefts and attempted thefts from cars in the Petrolia area.
According to the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), these events occurred between 12 a. m. and 3 a. m. on January 2.
Investigators found that a suspect visited residences on Mulberry Place, Lasalle Line, Rosemount Drive, and Kettle Lane during this time frame, attempting to break into parked vehicles. They believe the same individual is responsible for all the thefts and attempts.
The suspect is described as a tall man with a slim build. He was reported to be wearing an orange/brown jacket, dark pants, and dark shoes at the time of the incidents.
OPP have also connected a white 2014 Dodge Durango to these events.
