Two folks have been arrested on a number of charges associated to drug trafficking and unlawful firearm possession following an intensive investigation, say OPP

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Group Road Crime Unit (CSCU) from Collingwood and Huronia West Detachment, with help from Hunstville and Peterborough Detachments and York Regional Police executed 4 search warrants in Vaughan and Barrie following a drug trafficking investigation.

In early fall, the Collingwood OPP Group Road Crime Unit commenced an intensive drug trafficking investigation within the City of Collingwood. Using surveillance and investigative methods the first suspects had been noticed to be engaged in actions per drug trafficking. On account of this proof 4 search warrants had been obtained.

On Nov. 25, the next people had been arrested underneath the Legal Code of Canada and the Managed Medicine & Substances Act:

Nicole Quaresma, 32, of Collingwood:


CDSA 5(2) Possession of a Schedule I substance for the aim of trafficking – Cocaine
CDSA 5(2) Possession of a Schedule I substance for the aim of trafficking – Opioid (apart from heroin)

Hudson Reeve, 24, of Collingwood:


CDSA 5(2) Possession of a Schedule I substance for the aim of trafficking – Cocaine
CDSA 5(2) Possession of a Schedule I substance for the aim of trafficking – Opioid (apart from heroin)
CDSA 5(2) Possession of a Schedule I substance for the aim of trafficking – Different medicine
CC 91(2) Unauthorized possession of a weapon
CC 91(1) Unauthorized possession of a firearm
CC91(1) Unauthorized possession of a firearm (two counts)
CC 86(1) Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited gadget or ammunition (two counts)
CC 91(1) Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
CC 92(2) Possession of a prohibited gadget or ammunition
CC 354(1)(a) Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 
CC 117.01(1) Possession of firearm or ammunition opposite to prohibition order (three counts)
CC 108(1)(b) Possession of a firearm figuring out serial quantity has been tampered with

Instantly following the arrests, investigators executed 4 separate search warrants in Vaughan and Barrie. In the end; 511.3 grams of suspected cocaine, 417.4 grams of suspected fentanyl, 80 grams of suspected oxycodone and three firearms had been seized.

The accused had been each held for a bail listening to.

Data will also be submitted on-line at https://www.crimestopperssdm.com. Crime Stoppers doesn’t subscribe to name show, and you’ll stay nameless. Being nameless means you’ll not testify in courtroom.
