Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Group Road Crime Unit (CSCU) from Collingwood and Huronia West Detachment, with help from Hunstville and Peterborough Detachments and York Regional Police executed 4 search warrants in Vaughan and Barrie following a drug trafficking investigation. In early fall, the Collingwood OPP Group Road Crime Unit commenced an intensive drug trafficking investigation within the City of Collingwood. Using surveillance and investigative methods the first suspects had been noticed to be engaged in actions per drug trafficking. On account of this proof 4 search warrants had been obtained.
