COUNTY OF SIMCOE

The skate trail at the County of Simcoe is now open for the 2026 winter season. This scenic trail stretches over one kilometre across the grounds of the Simcoe Museum and its surrounding wooded areas.

Skaters can enter the trail through the museum’s group entrance, as other areas are currently under renovation and closed to visitors. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online for same-day use only. Online ticket sales start at 9 a. m. on weekends and at 4 p. m. on weeknights, with access to the skate trail dependent on weather and trail conditions.

2026 Hours of Operation

The skate trail will be available on these days, weather permitting:​

​Wednesdays

​6 to 8 p. m.

​Thursdays

​6 to 8 p. m.
