A Canada-wide warrant is still active for 19-year-old Isaiah Thomas Badger, who is wanted on charges of first-degree murder and arson causing damage to property.
A suspect linked to a murder in Vaughan was captured in the Far North.
Police responded to a commercial plaza near Winges Road and Rowntree Dairy roads after getting reports of gunfire on January 26 around 1 p. m., according to a news release from York Regional Police. A man was found outside a business with several gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead later at the hospital.
Jacob Wallace, one of the suspects, was apprehended by James Bay OPP in Moosonee on March 5.
Wallace, who is 19 and from Mississauga, faces charges of first-degree murder and arson causing damage to property.
A Canada-wide warrant remains outstanding for Isaiah Thomas Badger from Edmonton, Alberta. He is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone sees him, they are advised not to approach but to contact the police right away.
