A 34-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a crash with an SUV in Norfolk County on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place in the community of Silver Hill, situated in the Delhi area. Emergency services, including Norfolk OPP, paramedics, and firefighters, arrived at 10th Concession Road around 5:03 p. m.
The motorcyclist, who lived in Norfolk, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Norfolk OPP. The driver and several passengers in the SUV were unharmed.
Authorities are still looking into what led to the accident, as stated in a release.
10th Concession Road between Forestry Farm Road and East Quarter Line Road will be closed for several more hours, said Norfolk OPP in a statement shortly after 10 p. m. on Tuesday night.
Members of the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team are assisting with the investigation.
