With heavy hearts, we share the news of Paul Leixner’s passing at the age of 70, after a brave fight against cancer. Paul was the loving husband and closest friend of Dianne Jean-Leixner for 20 wonderful years. He was a dedicated stepfather to Cassandra Rivard (Scott) and Alexandra Lemire (Joseph), and he took great pride in being Opa to Kaidan, Benjamin, and Aurora. Paul was the son of the late Leonard and Catherine Leixner. He was also a caring son-in-law to Stan and Peggy Cote. He is survived by his dear siblings Linda Lovell (Brian), Mark (Michelle), Laura Mac Donald (Jim), Mary Penney (Scott), Kurt, and Karl (Linda). As well as being a brother-in-law to Debbie Mitchell, Dan Cote( Michelle), David Cote (Karen) and Donald Cote (Karen). Many nieces, nephews, and extended family will miss Paul dearly. For 47 years, Paul served as a proud member of the Brick Layers and Allied Craftworkers Local 6. A hardworking individual throughout his life, Paul’s passion for helping others showed through his willingness to assist with home improvement projects for friends and family. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Windsor Chapel Banwell, located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. in Windsor on Friday September 18 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 6:00pm until 8:00pm with prayers starting at 7:00pm. The funeral service will occur at the funeral home on Saturday September 19 at 11:00am followed by interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
