Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and at least two fire departments from Windsor-Essex were involved in a rescue operation on Thursday.
Details are limited, but the OPP West Region shared on X that they were helping Lakeshore Fire with a rescue at Agris Co-operative Ltd. located on Lions Club Road near County Road 27.
A worker was reported to be trapped inside a structure, and first responders worked carefully to get them out.
The OPP announced shortly after 6:30 p. m. on Thursday that the operation had come to an end.
No updates have been provided regarding the worker’s condition.
