The PC government of Ontario has reached an important milestone for families in Windsor-Essex.
Doug Ford, the leader of the Ontario PC Party, was joined by local leaders to officially start construction on the new Fancsy Family Hospital. This modern facility will enhance access to top-notch health care and support the community for years to come.
With a funding boost of over $202 million, the new hospital will introduce more than 100 additional beds, raising the total to nearly 600. It will also feature a brand-new 24/7 emergency department, excellent cancer care, complex trauma services, maternal and newborn care, critical care, and advanced surgical options.
As communities throughout Ontario continue to expand, the PC government is making necessary investments so families can receive healthcare close to home.
The Fancsy Family Hospital is part of a $64 billion initiative by Ontario’s PC government aimed at constructing and upgrading over 50 hospitals across Ontario in the next decade. This plan will create about 3,000 new hospital beds and bolster healthcare for families all over the province.
From expanding existing hospitals to connecting more individuals with primary care services, Ontario’s PC government is actively working to safeguard the province’s healthcare system and build a brighter future for communities everywhere.
We’re looking out for Ontarians by providing modern hospitals that families need.
