In a bold move, thieves used an excavator to pull off a bank heist in Brooklin early this morning (Tuesday).
Durham Police responded to an alarm at 3:20 a. m. at the Bank of Montreal located at Baldwin Road and Highway 7 (Winchester Road), discovering the excavator that the culprits had used to break into the bank.
Once inside, they grabbed an ATM and sped away in a dark vehicle before the police arrived.
