You can still grab your tickets for the Tillsonburg Kinettes 80s Ladies Night Out, happening on May 23 at the Tillsonburg Minor Soccer Club.
The Mom Prom was a hit, but it felt like time for a change.
“We thought it would be great to mix things up and bring in a fresh vibe. We can’t wait to see everyone’s take on 80s fashion,” said Kinette president Carrie Lewis. “The theme came about during our first committee meeting since it’s such a fun decade with tons of music, styles, and trends. The 80s were all about having a blast, and we want everyone to enjoy themselves in Tillsonburg. Life’s too serious.. girls just wanna have fun,”
The Kinette committee collaborates closely to organize and share responsibilities for their events. Many hands make light work! Lewis mentioned that the community is really supportive of their initiatives, donating items for raffles and decorations so that the Kinettes can raise funds to give back. Attendees can expect some surprises.
“We’ve got fantastic raffle prizes lined up for that night, plus a delicious mac and cheese bar, complimentary champagne when you arrive, a candy station, and some great music to dance to,” Lewis shared. “There will also be an award for the best dressed. We’re excited to see everyone moving and enjoying themselves.”
